Ce qui s\u2019est pass\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>Masni\u00e8res<\/strong> d\u00e9passe l\u2019entendement. Un chien retrouv\u00e9 noy\u00e9, lest\u00e9 par un pav\u00e9, dans les eaux tranquilles du <strong>canal de l\u2019Escaut<\/strong>. Derri\u00e8re ce drame, c\u2019est toute la question de la<strong> maltraitance animale<\/strong> en <strong>France<\/strong> qui refait surface, avec urgence et col\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"background-color: #d9edf7; color: #31708f; border-left-color: #31708f; \" class=\"ub-styled-box ub-notification-box wp-block-ub-styled-box\" id=\"ub-styled-box-e929fc84-05b6-460b-8995-9792ef618179\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ub-styled-box-notification-content-\">Une d\u00e9couverte gla\u00e7ante au bord du canal<\/h2>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le jeudi 18 avril 2025, \u00e0 Masni\u00e8res, une promeneuse d\u00e9couvre l\u2019insoutenable : un <strong>berger allemand<\/strong>, identifi\u00e9 comme <strong>Rudy<\/strong>, flotte inerte dans le canal de l\u2019Escaut. L\u2019animal, \u00e2g\u00e9 de moins de cinq ans, \u00e9tait <strong>attach\u00e9 par une longe \u00e0 un pav\u00e9<\/strong>, destin\u00e9 \u00e0 le maintenir sous l\u2019eau. Alert\u00e9s, les gendarmes de <strong>Marcoing<\/strong> et les agents municipaux interviennent rapidement. Le corps est r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 et confi\u00e9 \u00e0 la <strong>SDA d\u2019Estourmel<\/strong>, qui ordonne une autopsie. Les r\u00e9sultats sont accablants : <strong>Rudy \u00e9tait encore vivant<\/strong> lorsqu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 immerg\u00e9. Des traces de coups, des <strong>h\u00e9matomes thoraciques<\/strong> et une <strong>h\u00e9morragie interne<\/strong> t\u00e9moignent de violences r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es. La <strong>SDA d\u2019Estourmel<\/strong> a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 plainte pour <strong>acte de cruaut\u00e9 sur un animal domestique<\/strong> et s&#8217;est port\u00e9e <strong>partie civile<\/strong>. Leur avocate, Ma\u00eetre Vallet, rappelle que l\u2019auteur encourt <strong>jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 4 ans de prison ferme<\/strong> et <strong>60 000 euros d\u2019amende<\/strong>, avec une <strong>interdiction de d\u00e9tenir un animal<\/strong>. Des associations comme la SDA ou la SPA demandent une <strong>surveillance accrue des refuges, des ventes en ligne, et des transferts de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019animaux<\/strong>.
